The mountains surprise me
With yet another shade of green.
Plum rains of June.

I like the plum rains of June line.

I haven't thought about it much but why is 梅雨 written with plum? Is it because plums come into season this month?

This poem (like most of mine), was born on Facebook, and a friend gave the same compliment.
Then I wondered the same as you, why Plum Rain, but I couldn't find anything really. Your guess is correct, I suppose.
