Neyyar Dam-nation!

Off to India, where I'll spend a month in teacher training at the Sivananda Ashram. I'm sure to return much thinner and slightly more pious.

Back in snowy February...

On the nighttable: Salman Rushdie, "Midnight's Children"

Hey, long time no see!
Wow, you finally went to India!
I'm gonna take 100 hour TTC in sun and moon.
You should ring me when you come to Tokyo.
See ya!

Hello Ted,

Apologies for the very random question, but do you know what the accommodation for Kodo trainees (kenshusei) is like? Do they all sleep in the same room? Do they have any personal space at all? I noticed you mentioned a visit from Chrissy - a Kodo kenshusei - but her blog says she doesn't have internet access, which is why I thought of asking you first instead. If you do know, it would be great if you could send me a quick email.

Thanks very much.
